Kmart Distribution Center “Realignment”

Effective FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 2008, 25 Kmart Stores will be served by a DIFFERENT Hardlines Distribution Center (called an “RDC”) than serves those Kmart Stores today.

13 of these Kmarts will see their Softlines Distribution Center (called an “RSC”) change, as well.

The attached file lists each “Realigning” Store, along with its current RDC/RSC and the RDC/RSC which will serve the store effective Friday, April 25.

BOTTOM LINE for VENDORS

    • Orders you receive from Sears Holdings Corporation with “In-Store” dates on or after April 25 for these 25 Kmarts will show a DIFFERENT destination than orders you received for these stores previously.
    • Orders should be shipped to the destination which appears on each Purchase Order, regardless of the destination to which previous orders for that store were shipped.
    • If your company has “hard-coded” in your systems a relationship between a Kmart Store and a specific Distribution Center to which to ship that store’s merchandise, that coding must be changed
