Important SAP, ECCnet Compliance and GDR Information from Loblaw

SAP implementation at Loblaw. Data quality is an important element to the success of this initiative and Loblaw is committed to supporting industry standards in order to achieve improved data accuracy.

This is to notify you that as of Wednesday, November 16 the following changes will take effect when doing business with Loblaw.

SAP Implementation
There will be changes to the following forms: Listing Package, Article Maintenance, Site Setup and Condition Maintenance. Also introducing a new Customer Form.

Compliance to Loblaw Data Standards using the ECCnet Registry

As a reminder, all applicable suppliers are required to comply with the following business requirements when listing products: reliable bar codes through company prefix licensing, accurate product information through the ECCnet Registry, timely product data error resolution through GTIN Discrepancy Reporting (GDR) System, and standardized product images and dimensions through the ECCnet Image & Validation service.

GS1 Canada’s online Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) Discrepancy Reporting (GDR) System

The online GDR System will be leveraged to track and resolve errors that have been identified in your catalogue within the ECCnet Registry.
