Action Needed
Important Information for Third-Party Business Partners, including Sales Representatives, EDI Service Providers, and Land Carriers:

With the upcoming release of POL, third-party Business Partner information will not automatically move to new POL. Due to the nature of information currently in BPM, this functionality will help us greatly improve the security of information for all Business Partners.

This means that you cannot access POL until the following steps are complete. Third-party Business Partners must create a NEW Business Partner Profile in Vendor Management and Maintenance (VMM).

· Complete the New POL and Business Partner Administrator Training

o Training will be available on LMS September 2.

· Create a New Business Partner Profile

o Go to www.PartnersOnline.com when new POL is available.

o Click Interested in Becoming a Business Partner and fill out the required information.

§ The person filling out the online profile automatically becomes the Administrator.

o Once a profile has been created, the Business Partner Administrator for your company must complete the steps to “Create a New Relationship.”

§ Relationships must be initiated and approved with all business partners represented.

§ The Administrator must grant access to reports and applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

My company does not use Internet Explorer 8.0. What should we do?

New POL is only certified for IE8, which means we ensure all functionality in POL works using IE8. We will test POL on Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari, and we allow access using browsers other than IE8, but we cannot guarantee all functionality will be available in those browsers. We will identify and communicate known issues affecting core functionality of POL.

While we understand that IE8 usage is declining in the marketplace, it is still the overwhelming browser of choice among Target business partners. Therefore, we have chosen to use IE8 as the preferred browser for POL.
