Nearly 200 home improvement industry manufacturers, retailers and vendors attended the 18th annual AHMA Hardlines Technology Forum® last week in Memphis, Tennessee. Attendees participated in business sessions and discussed leading technology issues,
This year, AHMA took a strong stand on providing practical EDI education and information focusing on the business-side professional, as well as the IT professional by providing an exclusive session on “How To” Do Business in the Hardlines Industry. This provided an excellent stage for 1 EDI Source to talk with EDI professionals about EDI software, outsourcing services and training.
After the Monday session kicked-off, the exhibitors had a chance to introduce themselves during a short cocktail mixer. 1 EDI Source had an opportunity to talk with many companies including current customers like Oatey Company, a manufacturer of quality plumbing products.
Patrick Wischmeier, Asst. Vice President and Director, Information Services for Oatey was in attendance and noticed that 1 EDI Source had a professional booth and that the experts at 1 EDI Source had been talking with a lot of attendees, more so than the other exhibitors.
Pat also mentioned in an email to the president of 1 EDI Source, “Overall, your team has been doing a great job for Oatey. Our professional services representatives, Chris and Seth, are very attentive to our technical needs and Peggy has been staying in touch with me on our key initiatives” and added, “Oatey has come a long way with their overall EDI goals and is thankful to be able to rely on a partner like 1 EDI to continue implementing their overall EDI solution.”
1 EDI Source continues to position themselves as the leader in EDI solutions by providing one-of-a-kind service. We look forward to what AHMA 2009 has in store!
