Need to remove several types of characters from your data?Use the "leave alpha", "leave numeric", or "leave alpha-numeric" character operators. If you have a price field with $1,239.00,using the "leave numeric" operator will result in a return value of 123900.
Interconnect?
When you configure an interconnect you are establishing a partnership between your Value Added Network (VAN) and your Trading Partner’s VAN. Typically, when you are not on the same VAN as your Trading Partner you will need to setup an interconnect to ensure data is transmitted to the correct location.
When you establish an interconnect you will need to provide your VAN the Trading Partner’s name, VAN, Sender ID and qualifier. This is often an overlooked step and often leads to the question, “Where is the data our Trading Partner told us they sent?”
